Health care reform is reshaping every facet of the system nationally and locally. While the conversion to electronic health records and health information exchange will deliver greater efficiencies and savings, the transition has been complex and challenging for patients, providers, and health care organizations alike. Networks like the Vermont Health Information Exchange (VHIE) provide a platform to support change, while ensuring that electronic health information is secure and readily available when Vermonters need it.
Understanding the challenges of change, VITL is presenting—in partnership with The University of Vermont College of Medicine—Summit '16: Navigating the Health IT Landscape on October 5 & 6, 2016. The conference will provide opportunities to engage with leaders, experts and peers around health information technology tools, resources, best practices and frameworks as instruments for successfully navigating change.
