Vermont MMIS Procurement Update

As is well known, the State of Vermont is in the midst of multiple procurements as part of the build out of our Health and Human Services Enterprise (HSE).

Here is a quick update on our MMIS Procurement efforts:

• Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM):

o Vermont entered into a contract (#26324) with Goold Health Systems (GHS) in May, 2014.

• Care Management (CM):

o Vermont received 7 proposals in response to our Care Management Request for Proposals (RFP). The State is currently reviewing bids and anticipates executing a contract in February, 2015. The bidders are:
 Casenet
 Consilience Software
 eCinicalWorks
 eqHealth Solutions
 HealthEC
 UST Global
 ZeOmega

• Core MMIS and Contact Center:

o Vermont received 4 proposals in response to our Core MMIS/Contact Center Request for Proposals (RFP). The State is currently reviewing bids and anticipates executing a contract in February, 2015. The bidders are:

Vermont announces release of Integrated Eligibility (IE) RFP!

Good afternoon all.

The State of Vermont (State) is excited to announce the release of its Integrated Eligibility (IE) Request for Proposal (RFP)!! The State on behalf of the Agency of Human Services (AHS), is soliciting competitive sealed from qualified vendors for fixed price proposals for the Design, Development, Implementation and Maintenance of a Health and Human Services Integrated Eligibility (IE) Solution for the State of Vermont that will utilize an IT Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) infrastructure platform being developed by the State through a separate work stream – known as the Health Services Enterprise (HSE) Platform (HSEP) Project. The envisioned IE Solution will migrate all in-scope programs from the current legacy IT system known as ACCESS and other standalone applications.

Vermont Announces Care Management (CM) RFP !!!

The Department of Vermont Health Access (hereinafter called DVHA or the State) is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors for fixed price proposals (Proposals) for a Care Management (CM) Solution for the Agency of Human Services (AHS) that includes Software Design, Development, Implementation and Technical Support Services. DVHA, through this procurement, is also seeking to acquire supplemental Care Management operational and clinical support services for DVHA’s Vermont Chronic Care Initiative (VCCI). The CM Solution needs to be implemented to comply with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Seven Conditions and Standards and CMS’ Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) 3.0. The CM Solution needs to closely integrate with Vermont’s Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) solution, which is an integral part of Vermont’s Health Services Enterprise (HSE).

Vermont Integrated Eligibility (IE) Procurement Announcement


The State of Vermont, Agency of Human Services has decided to cancel the RFP titled, "Integrated Eligibility Solution Design, Development, and Implementation". This RFP was issued November 16, 2012 and proposals were due January 22, 2013.  The Agency has decided to revise and reissue the Request for Proposals.  Cancellation is per section 1.10 of the RFP. 

The State is anticipating releasing the revised RFP in March.

The State of Vermont (State) previoiusly announced the release of its Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Request for Proposal (RFP) on 12/13/2013.    The State on behalf of the Agency of Human Services (AHS), is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors for fixed price proposals (Proposals) for a Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) Solution that includes PBM Operational Services and the Software Design, Development, and Technical Support to deliver those Services.


 
This is the first of multiple RFPs related to the re-procurement of the State's Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) that will meet our strategic goals associated with the Federal Affordable Care Act (ACA).
